When you sign up and use TelePAY (via our website or Google and Apple Play Store), you accept the terms described within this agreement. Every member of our bonded staff pledges their commitment to the principle that information supplied to TelePAY is to be used for the purpose for which it was provided and no other purpose without the consent of the provider.

TelePAY deals with condential, personal, and nancial information of customers of Nigerians corporations and others on behalf of its clients. The company offers services to its clients and deals with nancial related information of these clients.

TelePAY has therefore established Privacy Guidelines to ensure the protection, to the best of the company's ability, of all personal and corporate information in its possession, in whatever form it is kept, whether it be an automated data bank, manual (or paper) le, microche or any other form. Your Rights To Personal Data

You have the rights under this Privacy and Cookie Policy to:

  • Request access to your personal data: This enables you to receive a copy of the personal data we hold about you and to check that we are lawfully processing it
  • Request correction of the personal data that we hold about you: This enables you to have any incorrect or incomplete information about you corrected.

  • Safeguards Security safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the information shall protect personal information. TelePAY will employ the same standard of care as it takes to safeguard its own condential information of similar nature. TelePAY requires all of its employees to comply with the foregoing standards of condentiality. These employees are bonded and bound to condentiality. All personal data provided by clients is kept secure from access by unauthorized personnel at all times. Access to and use of personal information is limited to those TelePAY Africa Limited employees who require it to fulll TelePAY Africa Limited ’s obligations to its clients.
  • Individual Access Upon request, an individual shall be informed of the existence, use, and disclosure of their personal information, and shall be given access to that information. An individual is entitled to challenge the accuracy and completeness of the information and have it amended as appropriate
  • Challenging Compliance An individual may address any questions or concerns with respect to TelePAY's Privacy Policy by contacting the TelePAY Privacy and Compliance Officer. Nothing in these guidelines will prevent TelePAY from using hired facilities to aid in completing its obligations. However, where data must be moved via transmission facilities outside TelePAY's direct control, TelePAY will make all reasonable efforts to ensure that such parties will provide the same protection of the data as TelePAY provides .
How To Exercise Your Personal Rights

If you wish to exercise any of the rights above, please contact us using the details in who we are and How to contact us . You will not have to pay a fee to access your personal data (or to exercise any right), ho wever, we may charge a reasonable fee for consent withdrawal if your request is clearly unfounded, repetitive or excessive. In the event of these circumstances we may refuse to comply with your request. We may need to request specific information from you to help us confirm your identity and ensure your right to access your Personal Data (or to exercise any of your other rights).

  • For some services we may also collect Bank VericationNumber (BVN), ID, documentation information and photograph (where applicable) Additional information may be requested to participate in social media functions on our site, promotions or surveys and when you contact us to report a problem on our site.If you communicate with our Customer Services team via e-mail, Live Chat or telephone your conversations may be recorded and stored for training and record keeping purposes. We use this information to measure and improve our Service quality.
B Device information

The following information may be collected from you automatically when you use the TelePAY mobile app, but it is not limited to

  • Details of your handset/device, unique device identiers(IMEI or serial number), information about the SIM card, mobile network, operating system and browser settings.We use this information to protect our customers from service-related crime, enhance the services we offer and to help us understand how people use the Service.
C Location information

Certain TelePAY features may require location information from your device’s GPS. With your consent this information will be collected for these services. You will be required to grant consent. Turning o fflocation services may render some services unavailable

D Analytics

We may use in-app analytics technologies, like Google Analytics, to help improve and simplify the overall app, design and service. These tools track aggregated information about in app usage, provide performance measurements and allow better reporting on application failures.

TelePAY uses cookies to help TelePAY identify and track visitors, their usage of the TelePAY website, and their website access preferences. PAYMENT INFORMATION PROTECTION

TelePAY is entirely committed to protecting the information we collect from you. TelePAY is required to retain the details of transactions or payments you make via TelePAY after the transaction is completed. We will store these transactions for the required period under the nancialregulations of your jurisdiction.

Customer Responsibilities

You are responsible for the protection of your password or PIN in its entirety as communicated in our Terms and Conditions. You must not share your TelePAY password or PIN with anyone. We will never request for your PIN or password via email or SMS or any other means. In the event you receive such communication, please disregard and contact us at support@telepayafrica.com. In the event you share your password with a third party, you will be held responsible for the consequences. If you believe your password or PIN has been compromised, please change it immediately and contact us.

Changes of Privacy Policy

TelePAY may change its Privacy Policy from time to time, and at TelePAY’s sole discretion. We will notify you when changes have been made. By continuing to use the mobile application or website after the change, you agree to acceptance the new policy.
